Santa Ana — Six high schools in Santa Ana will each get three defibrillators in an effort to prevent the deaths of young athletes from cardiac arrest. Six of the machines were donated by the Kevin Armstrong, M.D. Memorial Sports Foundation, named for a UC Irvine sports medicine doctor and Santa Ana High team physician. SANTA ANA - Several hundred Santa Ana Unified intermediate school students from across the city recently put their talents to the test in the annual all city track and field event which included various competitive games including sprinting, shot put, long jump, and other field events. Hosted by Segerstrom High School, the games were sponsored by Santa Ana Unified School District (SAUSD), the City of Santa Ana Parks and Recreation, and the Kevin Armstrong M.D. Memorial Sports Foundation.
